Mission accomplished. Prophecy perfectly fulfilled.
The Father has turned his face away from the sinful site of Calvary, where our LORD and Savior has breathed his very last breath, giving everything for all humanity in order to give us Hope.
Mary has witnessed the heartbreaking crucifixion of her precious son and Satan is laughing in victory. His disciples downcast, and heavyhearted watch helplessly as their Master’s lifeless body is placed gently in the tomb.
So many questions. Jesus tried so very hard to prepare them but there hearts were not listening. His time had come. This is what he was born to accomplish.
As Jesus breathed his very last the temple veil ripped completely in two from top to bottom. Our LORD bridged the gap between God and man. We can now come boldly before the throne of grace, direct access to the Father, all because Jesus came and made it possible for you and me.
The angels could have come at any given moment and rescued Jesus. It would only take one syllable from the Fathers lips. They waited anxiously for the final breath and the Father barely finished speaking (Go!).
One quick swoop, and into the throne room of heaven they placed him before the Father whose heart was so full at the accomplishment of his son. A love like no other.
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:13
The demons still dancing in victory are about to get their party crashed. For the 3rd day is about to roll in as the sun peaks over the horizon, The SON is coming up in the morning. He is back! Death-Hell & The Grave defeated in VICTORY for YOU my friend! He lives! Oh to be a witness on this scene as it unfolds. The demons in dismay, Mary as she realizes her LORD is ALIVE! Wasting no time, she runs to tell the disciples the Good News!
May we be like Mary and share the Good News! There are still those among us that do not know or understand what Easter means for them. Someone took the time to deliver the true message to us. We need to share the Truth and not just talk it but walk it out before others because we are the only Jesus some will ever see. Happy Easter everyone. Rejoice for your Savior lives!
He lives and He is coming back! This time to proclaim what is rightfully His. Not the lamb but as The MIGHTY Lion of Judah! Are you ready? Keep your eye on the eastern sky.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John14:3
