The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”  Deuteronomy 31:8

Hello to all my beautiful sisters out there.  I don’t know what you are facing today, but I wanted to offer some encouraging words and remind you to look to God for He is always in control, even when everything else seems chaotic.  We each have our own journey filled with personal struggles of all kinds.  I want you to know right now in this very moment, “YOU ARE NOT ALONE!”.  God knows each and every story from start to finish and He knows what’s coming way before we do.  Moses left Joshua with some powerful words in Deuteronomy 31:8. “The Lord himself goes before you”.  What a comforting thought that God is walking ahead of us and making a way for us.

I have had the opportunity to personally meet some incredible women in my lifetime. Each with a story of courage beyond measure, women who have inspired me to keep pressing on and to keep my hope and faith intact.  They reminded me of how much God loves me and to keep my eyes on Him and not to focus on a storm that has no control whatsoever of my destiny.

He will never leave us nor forsake us.  He wants nothing but good things for his children. I don’t know about you, but sometimes my emotions get the best of me because I am so focused on the storm instead of the one who controls it.  If God can open the Red sea for Moses in order to make a way for his people, He can make a way for you and I just as He has made a way for all who will choose him as LORD.

Choosing Jesus as Lord of your life means that He has the right to tell you what to do.  He earned that right when He took our place on the cross of calvary.  Remember He Came, He Died, He Arose, and He is definitely coming again.  My prayer is that you and your family are prepared for that day.

How my heart breaks for those who have no hope.  I can’t imagine facing my struggles without the hope and strength of my Lord Jesus.  I can do all things through Him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13).  My prayer is that you know the Lord personally, and you have a personal relationship with him.

Knowledge of someone is never the same as personally knowing that individual.  I have knowledge about President Abraham Lincoln, but I never knew him personally.  God is very real.  He is my personal Lord and Savior, my friend, my defender and my waymaker.  He speaks to my heart all the time.  He even places people in my path daily, providing me a personal opportunity to help them.

I encourage you today, if you do not know for sure that you are saved, reach out to KLOVE.com.  They have pastors on call just waiting to talk with you and help you know for certain.  Your personal salvation is the most important decision you will ever make in your life.   My prayer is that you know or will come to know the “Waymaker” as your personal Lord and Savior.  Trust him today, the path is clear for he has already made a way just for you.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path”.  Proverbs 3:5-6.
