Fully Invested

Okay cover the toes because I have just stepped all over mine with this post.

I’m talking no more comfort zones. GOD IS SPEAKING LOUD AND CLEAR. Like any good parent we want what’s best for our children, how could you ever imagine that your heavenly father would desire any less for His own.

Covid-19 has tremendously impacted our communities and turned our lives upside down, and I know absolutely NOTHING happens without God allowing it.

So what we must ask ourselves is this:
What is God trying to teach me? He never let’s a teachable moment pass and I want to sit up and take notice when God speaks.

I have seen people look up and they have taken notice. God definitely has their attention. He has shut down schools that shut Him out completely. He has taken away the church service that many took for granted. He has quarantined families to remind them of the importance of valuable time spent together.

He tells us in his word “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. Romans 8:28 As in all things Gods plan will always come to fruition.

Jesus was fully invested in people. He valued people. Spending time with those that many never did. Those that were overlooked and unseen. I ask you #1 have you studied and do you know your Father’s attributes? #2 Have you been working on adopting your father’s attributes?

Jesus came to be a servant. “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28

This world keeps us busy, especially now more than ever. We must take note of who we are in Him. Are we fellow servants or not? We all get caught up in our own little bubble, I know I’m the worst to just work on keeping my head down at times and avoiding all the unnecessary drama, but we are called to GO into the world and share the Truth. I very well can’t share anything by avoiding people.

God was fully invested in people, so much so that He gave his only begotten son’s life for all people. So I ask you again? Have you been working on adopting your Father’s attributes? Are you fully invested? He calls us to be a holy people. Entrusting us to carry the light of Hope for all humanity than none should perish but all would come to know Him personally.

That means drama and all we dive in and invest our time and whatever else it takes to be the servants we were called to be. Just as the Passover proved the blood protects and covers all those who believe. We will survive Covid-19 because God is still on his throne and there is still power in the blood.

I truly believe the fields are bursting forth with souls ready to hear the words of truth. I have personally witnessed young women in my workplace craving someone to invest in and mentor them. We have got to get out of those comfort zones and get serious about our calling as God’s people.

• Get Invested

May you all stay safe. Take advantage of this time to invest with family, as well as time alone with the father to learn more of the one in whom your hope lies so that you can be fully equipped to share your investment when the next opportunity arises.
